Amount: First Grant Term total allocation = $400 Million; Second Grant Term total allocation = $300 Million; Third Grant Term total allocation = $200 Million.
Match Formula: First Grant Term = $1 for every $1 received; Second Grant Term = $1.50 for every $1 received; Third Grant Term = $2 for every $1 received.
Eligibility: School districts; County Offices of Education; Charter Schools with an active charter number; Regional occupational centers or programs operated by joint powers authorities.

The purpose of the California Career Technical Education Incentive Grant Program is to encourage new CTE programs and maintain current CTE programs during implementation of the school district and charter school local control funding formula (LCFF). Part II of the application will be scored based on the applicant’s plans to offer high quality CTE programs, meeting the ten requirements, preparing an approved budget with matching funds and demonstrating sustainability for three years after the completion of the grant. By the end of the first grant term, all grantees will be expected to meet the CTE program requirements for high quality CTE programs.
