Wayne Thorpe, Project Manager

Wayne Thorpe is a Project Manager at California Consulting who has been employed both in-house and as a consultant in nonprofit development for the past eight years and has assisted his employers and several pro bono clients in securing millions of dollars in federal, state, county, municipal, corporate, and philanthropic grants. In his full-time roles, Wayne also facilitated DEI initiatives and strategic planning sessions, and composed and edited both in-house and external public relations materials.   

Previously, Wayne worked for two decades in print media as the managing editor of a newspaper and feature writer/columnist for both newspapers and magazines. He also served as the Marketing Director at Warren County Community College, Human Resources editorial consultant at Avaya, on the Grants Committee for the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission, and has collaborated on ghostwriting six business/nonfiction books. Wayne was educated at County College of Morris and Rutgers University, both in his home state of New Jersey.
