Recently, California Consulting CEO, Steve Samuelian, attended an event honoring longtime L.A. community leader Maria Durazo at City Club LA. He had the honor of serving as Master of Ceremonies and introducing the keynote speaker L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti. We were also joined by L.A. City Councilman Paul Koretz who spoke during the program. The Host Committee members consisted of Araz Parseghian, Baydsar Thomassian, Dorene Dominguez/Vanir Construction, LIUNA/Josh La Farga,

Pantoja, Cerrell Associates CEO Hal Dash, Maria Mehranian/Cordoba Corp., Ron Miller-LA/OC Building Trades Council, Harout Harry Semerdjian, LACCD Board Member Mike Fong, El Monte Mayor Andre Quintero, Matt Gaines/Operating Engineers, Burbank Board of Education Member Armond Aghakhanian, Southern California Armenian Democrats (SCAD), Vahan Garboushian, and several others. The event was a full house and a major success. Special guests in attendance included Heather Repenning, L.A. World Affairs Council CEO Stephen Cheung, and Imelda Padilla, among others.
