Matthew Kamm began writing grants professionally in 2013 and is proud to have raised millions of dollars in public and private grants. After serving as a development intern at the Midnight Mission (on Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles), he worked for a development consulting company where he focused on securing funding for non-profits. He then transitioned to an organization that served families experiencing homelessness and helped the organization grow to meet the rising demand for services before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since joining California Consulting, he has worked with multiple municipalities to identify and secure opportunities to meet the needs of the communities they serve.
When not writing grants, Matt is generally writing stories and plays and is proud to help run an organization that assists playwrights in developing their work. He is a Los Angeles native and attended Cornell University where he studied Hotel Management and English.
