Matthew Dobler is an experienced government and public affairs professional with a background spanning California and several states across the country, including Florida, Oregon, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
Matthew has served as a Chief of Staff to members of the California Legislature and has managed legislative, congressional, and statewide initiatives. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in government relations, coalition building, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach.
His experience includes working with elected officials, government agencies, community stakeholders, and organizations to develop strategies, build partnerships, and advance initiatives that address community priorities.
Passionate about community service and California water policy, Matthew was elected to the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District in 2024, where he is serving a four-year term.
Matthew is a graduate of California State University, San Marcos, where he earned a degree in Political Science. He resides in Southern California.
