Heather Montano is a Project Manager with California Consulting. In 2018, After over a decade in various roles supporting small businesses, public schools, and nonprofits, she transitioned into grant proposal writing and research.
Since then, she has partnered with nonprofit organizations of all shapes and sizes, from local diaper banks to national education agencies and hospital networks, helping organizations to tell their stories and get funded. To date, she has secured over 3 million in grant awards from a wide array of private and public funders.
Outside of work, Heather embraces her role as a mother and finds joy in homemaking & from-scratch cooking, aspiring towards the art of slow living, and spending time outdoors.”
