In his career, Ed has written over 150 successful grant applications for a total of over $6 million. These grants have been in a number of areas including the Arts, Developmental Disabilities, Economic and Workforce Development. In addition to his grant writing, he was for many years a professional theatre producer and currently is artistic director for a company of developmentally disabled performers. Ed has served on the boards of several not-for-profit agencies including the Cayuga County New York United Way and the Theatre Panel of the New York State Council on the Arts.
In recognition of his services to his community Ed has received commendations from the U.S. House of Representatives, the New York State Senate, the New York State Assembly, and the Cayuga County Legislature. His career accomplishments have put him in “Who’s Who in America”, and “Who’s Who in American Theatre” and recently he received the Albert Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award. Ed resides in Auburn, New York with his wife Kathleen and is the proud parent of three children Austin, Celeste, and Sarah. He holds a BA from SUNY Cortland and an MA from Bowling Green State University.
