In a strategic move to enhance public green spaces, the City of Baldwin Park has been awarded a $2 million grant from the LA County Regional Park and Open Space District’s Acquisition Only 2024 Program. The funding, announced in January, marks a significant milestone in the city’s ongoing efforts to expand and preserve open space for its residents.
The grant application was successfully crafted through a collaborative effort between Senior Project Manager David Marquez, Management Assistant Sam D’Ambrosio, and the City Administration. Their joint work in aligning the city’s vision with funding priorities played a pivotal role in securing the award.
