CC LLC congratulates the City of Maywood (a CC LLC client) for being awarded Urban and Community Forestry California Climate Investments (CCI) Grant Program in the amount of $201,000 from the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. This project will work with disadvantaged communities (100%) and partners to plant 546 trees to replace trees lost due to drought and invasive insect pests. There will be a robust meaningful outreach and educational component. All trees will receive establishment care during the grant. This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of City of Maywood’s leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by CCLLC Project Manager, David Marquez, who ensured a successful grant application.
