Amount: No funding cap for individual projects
Match: Subapplicant is responsible for no less than 25% local match of the total activity cost. This can be from any non-federal source
Eligibility: State agencies, local government agencies, special districts, federally recognized tribes, and private nonprofit organizations affected by the wildfires in Butte, Los Angeles and Ventura Counties
Eligible Hazard Mitigation activities in declared counties (Butte, Los Angeles, and Ventura Counties
- Post-fire erosion control projects in Butte, Los Angeles, and Ventura Counties
- Prioritize projects that take advantage of FEMA pre-calculated benefits
- Building code projects to support post-disaster code enforcement
- Mitigation projects addressing flood, fire, and earthquake hazards
- Partnerships with State agencies for large projects to mitigate flood, fire, and/or earthquake hazards
- Previously submitted, but not funded projects
- Mitigation projects in non-declared counties
