California Consulting client City of Baldwin Park received the Measure W: Safe Clean Water Grant in the amount of $12,813,644.
The Barnes Park Multi-Benefit Project will feature an underground stormwater vault that will capture and infiltrate runoff from an 81-inch storm drain that collects stormwater from the residential area northeast of the park. It will also capture and treat urban and stormwater runoff from the nearby Los Angeles County Flood Control Storm Drain(s). The Project includes above-ground improvements, such as drought-tolerant landscaping, resurfaced playing fields, and low impact development features.
