Brandi Hall Clarke has over 20 years of experience as a grant writing consultant and grants administrator for clients in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She has years of professional experience working in the fields of health and mental health, education, housing, disaster preparedness and recovery, homelessness, social services, economic development, and the environment.
Prior to starting her own consulting business, Brandi served in various leadership roles including chief executive officer of the Mississippi Mental Health Association, executive director of the South Mississippi AIDS Task Force, and Director of Financial Development and Community Relations for The Salvation Army.
Following Hurricane Katrina, as CEO of the Mississippi Mental Health Association, Brandi opened and operated the first Center for Community Resilience on the Mississippi Gulf Coast; a partnership between Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and the Israeli Trauma Coalition. The Center was instrumental in screening and training first responders, teachers, and mental health professionals in resilience coaching and served as a referral source for community residents suffering from the emotional effects of Hurricane Katrina. Brandi was also appointed to the Harrison County Office of Long-Term Recovery and to the City of Biloxi’s Riving the Renaissance Nongovernmental Planning Committee.
She has worked on special projects for state and federal government and has served as a grant’s administrator for the University of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium.
Over the years, Brandi has served as a board member for the Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce, Gallery 782, South Mississippi VOAD, Lighthouse Business and Professional Women’s Organization, and Edgewater Rotary. She was nominated as Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women and received a Women of Caring Leadership Award. Brandi received a Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International and was selected as a Gulf Coast Red Cross Hero. She was also chosen as one of the Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40 in The Sun Herald/South Mississippi Business Journal Roland Weeks Hall of Fame.
Brandi holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from William Carey University and is a life-long resident of Biloxi, Mississippi.
