Ilya Malinsky joined California Consulting as a Project Manager in 2015. With over a decade of professional writing experience, Mr. Malinsky has managed and authored a wide range of successful grant proposals focusing on municipal infrastructure and services. During the last fiscal year, he helped secure nearly $5M in State and Federal grant funding.
Ilya has also secured funding for a number of publicly and privately funded projects serving low-income communities and student populations. Projects have included educational and skill-building programs in underserved urban communities, programs for pregnant and parenting high school students, and comprehensive after-school programs for middle school students in cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, DC.
Ilya earned his Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University.
