Jaimie Lewis, Project Manager

Jaimie Lewis joined California Consulting in 2019 with a background in transportation funding, cannabis compliance, budgeting, and grant writing. Prior to joining California Consulting, Jaimie served as a grants manager for Omnitrans, San Bernardino County’s transportation provider. Specializing in Federal Transit Authority, Department of Transportation, and other State-level clean air programs,  Jaimie was successful in being awarded for large-scale infrastructure projects and programs, while managing project budgets greater than $24,000,000.  Jaimie’s employment history includes work for the County of San Bernardino as a public health grant auditor, special districts grant writer,  State Board of tax auditor, and a small business owner. Jaimie has extensive knowledge in post-award management and milestone reporting. Working with cities like Rialto and numerous non-profits in the Southern California region, Jaimie has written and assisted in the grant management and monitoring efforts for dozens of organizations nationwide.

Jaimie is one of our only grant writers who specializes in the growing field of cannabis, specializing in municipal regulatory authority compliance and equity program implementation. She has experience writing competitive grants, helping local jurisdictions oversee their commercial cannabis programs.

A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Jaimie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and her Master’s Degree in public administration. She has written competitive grants and discretionary grants to aid in the awarding of over $100 million in federal, state, and private funding.

Jaimie has extensive knowledge in post-award management and milestone reporting. Working with cities like the City of Rialto and numerous non-profits in the Southern California region, Jaimie has written and assisted in the grant management and monitoring efforts for many organizations.

A native of the Inland Empire, Jaimie currently resides in Rialto, California. Married to her high school sweetheart, Jaimie is wife and mom of five children, four girls and one baby boy born in 2018.
