Elise Domico, Project Manager

Elise Domico is a project manager with California Consulting. Her grant writing experience is backed by years in both education and the non-profit sector.

In her previous work as a K-12 school counselor, she had ample opportunities to learn about the intricate workings of a school district. She served in lead roles overseeing the SST, 504, and district testing operations. She coordinated collaborative meetings with stakeholders at every level including staff, parents, and students.

She understands the needs of a school system from the student level to the administration. Prior to her work in education, Elise spent five years as a social worker with a non-profit serving youth in foster care.

As a grant writer, Elise has continued to provide services to school districts, youth-oriented non-profits, and conservation organizations. She specializes in writing grants on topics such as social-emotional learning, youth leadership, capacity building, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

While Elise has a specialty in education, she is easily able to pivot and provide grant writing services in a number of other areas. She enjoys the collaborative process of working as a team to compile the necessary information to produce a compelling grant application.

Elise has degrees in Counseling (MA), Psychology (BA), and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling (PPSC). She is also part of a global grant writing collective of nearly 600 grant writers who meet twice a month to learn from one another.
