Marc Levin is a Project Manager at California Consulting.
Levin has 25 years of experience as a grant writing consultant and director of development for non-profit organizations in the fields of behavioral and public health, supported housing, gender and racial equality, justice reform, services for people returning from prison and the elimination of human trafficking. This includes raising more than $110 million in grant funds from 15 state and U.S. government agencies and 35 private foundations.
Marc holds a master’s degree in social work from the City University of New York. Before he embarked on his development and grant writing career, Marc worked in the mental health field for 22 years as a clinician, mental health center director, and faculty member of graduate schools of social work. He also served as a consultant to hospitals, social service agencies, public schools, and programs for at-risk youth on how to promote the mental health of children. Marc also co-founded the first county jail mental health program in New Jersey.
Over the years Marc has been active as a board member for the NY Civil Liberties Union, the National Association of Social Workers, Prisoner Visitation and Support, Children of Uganda and Pacem in Terris. He currently lives in Wilmington, DE.
