Jennifer Potter, Project Manager

Jennifer Potter is a Project Manager for California Consulting.

Jennifer brings years of experience as a librarian and archivist to grant writing, including management, project management, digitizing historical archives, instructing and assisting researchers. Her first grant was awarded while obtaining her Master of Library Science degree and was a competitive national grant, Art 21, Art in the 21st Century Museum-Library Partnership Grant.

As an archivist, she wrote and obtained numerous grants to digitize historically valuable photographs and documents from Niagara Falls, NY.

Ms. Potter has obtained over $2.6 million to alleviate homelessness in Western New York. These funds were for capital, basic needs, staffing, education, job training, and the first medical respite for homeless people in Western New York. Her work includes grant research, writing, management, and reaching out to funders.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Binghamton University and a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo. Ms. Potter is the secretary for the newly formed Western New York Finger Lakes chapter of the Grant Professionals Association (WNYFL GPA). She is an avid hiker, singer, watercolorist, and photographer.
