CC congratulates the City of Baldwin Park (a CC client) for receiving the Prop 68 award in the amount of $2,552,998 for the Big Dalton Wash Greenway Project.

CC congratulates the City of Baldwin Park (a CC client) for receiving the Prop 68 award in the amount of $2,552,998 for the Big Dalton Wash Greenway Project. These monies will create the Big Dalton Wash Trail Greenway connecting to Hilda Solis Park and Walnut Creek Park. Construct a new approximate 2.8 mile/non-motorized trail with four public art pieces, including a mosaic and mural, and the installation of both LED and solar lighting and landscaping throughout the greenway. This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of Baldwin Park’s leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents. It’s also a reflection of the dedication and hard work by CC Project Manager, David Marquez, who ensured a successful grant application. California Consulting Client City of Bell received $4,499,388 for Prop 68.

These monies will improve Pritchard Field Park. Construct two new playgrounds, splash pad, two dog parks, three picnic areas with gazebos, five fitness/ exercise stations, walking trails, combined restroom/ office building, native plant garden, park monument signage with “City of Bell” Logo and park entry arch, high screen wall for public art and murals, two parking lots, landscaping irrigation, and lighting throughout the park.

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City of Bell’s leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.

This award is for the assessment of land/property and capital improvements to homes for shared housing.

CC congratulates the City of Baldwin Park, El Monte, and South El Monte for receiving the Homeless Implementation Grant (Collaborative/ Joint Application) in the amount of $113,000.


This funding award is for housing navigators and housing coordinators to Build their regional approach to tackling homelessness, the Los Angeles County Homeless Initiative and United Way of Greater Los Angeles announced the award of more than $3.8 million in Measure H funding to bolster the work of cities in implementing city-specific plans to combat and prevent homelessness.  

It is also a significant next step in strengthening the collaboration between the County and cities in the region, which are united in their commitment to address this complex humanitarian crisis.

CC congratulates the City of Baldwin Park (a CC client) for receiving the Homeless Implementation Grant in the amount of $169,200.

The project goal is to increase the supply of interim and permanent housing for people experiencing homelessness within the City of Baldwin Park. Grant funds will  provide technical assistance and consulting services, and support a land assessment and feasibility study to conduct the following activities:

•             Develop and implement land acquisition strategies that will result in an increase in supportive housing supply

•             Implement land use/zoning changes to reduce barriers to interim and permanent housing

•             Achieve city compliance with CA Senate Bill 2

•             Implement city policy changes that result in changes to increase the housing supply 

This latest achievement is another example of the commitment of the City of Bell’s leadership to protect and promote the quality of life for its residents.
